This area has become a favorite among residents due to its modern construction and vibrant atmosphere. The shopping center welcomed its first tenants in November 2018, and as you stroll around, you will notice some “coming soon” signs, indicating more exciting retail options are on the way.
One of the highlights here is the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, a popular restaurant known for its great salads, burgers, and delightful iced mango black tea drink. Even on a Monday morning, it's buzzing with activity. The center boasts a unique waterfall feature at its entrance, creating a captivating ambiance.
According to rentcafe.com, Dania Beach is currently 51% renter occupied. Dania Pointe Shopping Center is also expanding, with the construction of 600 apartments. These apartments start at around $1600 a month, offering a convenient city vibe where you can walk to restaurants and shops without needing your car. Urban Outfitters, Footlocker, Anthropologie, and other stores are just a few steps away there's even an ice cream shop and a chocolate shop near the picnic area, making it a fantastic spot for families and friends to enjoy. The center also features the Dania Pointe Improv Comedy Theatre, where comedians regularly perform, promising lots of laughs and a great time with loved ones.
DANIA BEACH PIER: A SEASIDE DELIGHT
Dania Beach boasts an award-winning Blue Wave Beach with an exceptional beach pier and marina. DANIA BEACH NEIGHBORHOODS: A GLIMPSE INTO LOCAL LIVING
Our first neighborhood showcases homes built in the 1980s, featuring charming ranch style houses. These homes, typically singled story with barrel tile or shingle roofs, offer a cozy residential atmosphere. One particular 3 bedroom, 2 bath house I'm showcasing sits at 1635 square feet and is currently priced at $750,000. It was built in 1988, and recent upgrades include a new roof and hurricane impact windows. With a 2-car garage and a corner lot of about 6500 square feet, it's an excellent example of the real estate in this area.
Next is a neighborhood located just South of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport. Here, you'll find a mix of dry lot properties and waterfront properties. The three bedroom, 2 bath house at 1600 square feet and sits on a waterfront property priced at $800,000. While it lacks a garage, it features a pool and showcases some impressive updates. The homes in this area were built in the 50s and 60s, and you'll notice the variety of roofing styles, reflecting the importance of hurricane preparedness in Florida.
